Staying on Your Halal Hustle

Today I came across a beautiful hadith which motivated me alot to continue pursuing not only a halal livelihood but to also realize the importance of struggling independently to help feed family, friends, and spending in the way of Allah (swt). Respect my hustle

Of course all of the above things I mentioned fall under spending in the way of Allah (swt), but to diversify our spending habits in different ways for beneficial purposes will only help us in the hereafter.

All of us may not be financially well off but one thing we need to remember is that whatever halal earnings we make, Allah swt will put many Barakah (blessings) in it and what may seem to be a little may evolve into something much more insh’Allah.

The hadith was as follows

No one eats better food than that earned by the work of his own hands. Indeed, God’s prophet, David, peace be upon him, used to eat from the labor of his own hands. – Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

So don’t be upset about what you don’t have, appreciate what you’ve worked for and what you do have.

May Allah (swt) enrich us in every aspect of our life, Ameen!
