Time to Change..
Why do so many people judge other people by their past? What no one can ever change for the better? No one walking this earth’s surface is perfect. Get it straight. I think one of the biggest problems with humans these days is they always tend to look at another persons mistake rather than saying you know its all good, they made mistakes, we all made mistakes and Inshallah with a sincere commitment to learning from those mistakes and changing for the better then you can perhaps rectify and transform yourself as an individual against your negative impulses.
Everyone has the potential to change, we all had our regretful days or moments where we sinned. That’s something you must move past and accept the fact that time is limited and we must act accordingly to the commands of Allah while we are conscious in our positive states. This takes constant reflection and remembrance that God is watching you and every opportunity that comes our way, we can’t be losers. We have to take advantage of it. Every breath we take, is another blessing from God Almighty bestowed upon us. It’s up to you how you want to act according to your next breath and next heart beat, nothing is promised in life. The only thing promised in life is death.
This issue is something so prevalent in our time, amongst Muslims and non Muslims both. After doing some observation and picking up on this mentality in society i realized that alot of people always put others down to keep themselves up. Well I tell them to relax because we will all go down to the graves eventually and we have to throw our pride on the floor. It’s easy for us to say oh since i pray more than him or her I’m better. This is the trick of the devil, no one can ever say they have reached their highest level. One of of the things about Islam is the message which is obligated upon us Muslims to continue carrying on but most importantly setting and putting the teachings into practice.
Actions speak louder than words, the whole world agrees to this. It’s easy for us to point out a person’s mistakes, but what i learned from life is you will be accountable for yourself in the end. So we should be our own righteous lawyers and not professional liars.
The main point which I am trying to tell you guys is that before we look at others we must look at ourselves first. Thank you for reading this post, we ask God to help us all and guide us on the straight path…Ameen! Wasalaam Folks! I Just felt like writing this, its been on my mind alot.
