Ramadan, Are You Ready?
Just to keep it simple and straight to the point besides the regular moon sighting/moon fighting talk, here are some things we can reflect on.
“Whoever fasted Ramadan with faith and in expectancy of reward, has their previous sins forgiven.” [Bukhari and Muslim]
When you see the new moon you can make the following dua:
“O Allah, let this moon (month) pass over us with blessings, Iman, safety, and in the belief of Islam. Grant us the ability to act on the actions that You love and Pleases You. (O moon) My Lord and Your Lord is Allah”.
I hope all of you make the most of this month and May Allah swt accept your fasts, good deeds and repentance, Ameen! We should all thank Allah swt for allowing us to enter into this month which is packed with blessings and mercy, some brothers and sisters passed away and won’t have the chance to experience it.
It could be your last, make the most of it insh’Allah.
