Icna Convention review!
salam, brothers and sisters, in islam, Alhumduillah i came back from the icna convention, have to say, i had an awesome time, besides the fact that my dad got a bit sick, Inshallah he will get better, make dua for him, in addition, can’t complain, ISLAMIC CIRCLE OF NORTH AMERICA did a great job, Young Muslims brothers and sisters also did big things, i loved all the sessions, from Imam Siraj Wihaj to Yasir Qadi, to Altaf Hussein to Nouman Ali Khan..and the list goes on and on, also the bazaar was great, i saw alot of islamic goods, from mint miswak to halal oils, to audio, books, clothing, it was an original muslim market place.
Inshallah one day i can live in an area like that, i met some new brothers this year, i was able to go a day early to set some things up for the convention, i was born in ICNA, been with them since the gecko, i was really happy to see more attendees this year, quality of programs was better, entertainment sessions were nice, i felt the sunnah vibe, the theme was great this year…basically we have to work on reviving the sunnah of our beloved prophet muhammad (s), looking foward to next year, inshallah we all put into practice what we learned and HELP CONVEY THE MESSAGE OF ISLAM TO THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW, too bad its only three days, well what more can i say, all good things come to end, Inshallah ALLAH swt let the muslims in north america progress and develop more and have more great conferecences like this, well thats it for now…straight sunnah boy!!, oh yea the chill yo islam yo shirts sold out, everybody loved them…will try to get young muslims to print more… and my midnight muslim youth basketball tournament was great alhumduillah, thanks to all the brothers who helped, about 450 people attended,till then im out wasalaam folks!!! ameen na i mean!
