Eid Shoes

We all love wearing our nicest outfit and shoes on Eid. Not to show off or have pride but it’s from the Sunnah to look fresh.

I was able to get some nice loafers from Aldo Shoes recently, I got them specifically for eid. I saved over 20 dollars by buying them online rather than going straight to the store and since it was my first purchase off the site, I got free vip (dunya) shipping, =).

After I bought them, I was reminded of this hadith

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“He will not enter Paradise who has a grain of arrogance in his heart”, a man asked: “A man may like his dress to be nice and his shoes to be nice.”

The Prophet said: “Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Arrogance is to deny rights and look down on people.”[Abu Dawud, al-Hakim]
