Alhumduillah, We Bit the Bug!

Alhumduillah, what an amazing event! Islamic relief raised $196,000 to fight malaria.Now let’s hope it gets to the people who need it insh’Allah.

Jazak’Allah to Imam Zaid Shakir, Imam Siraj, Shaykh Faraz Rabbani, Sheikh Yasir Qadhi, the volunteers of Islamic Relief and especially Sister Fatima Jackson and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf for their speeches.

The drive was definitely worth it, it was the first time I was able to meet all the renowned scholars of the west in the blessed month of Ramadan.

May Allah swt reward everyone for their efforts, donations and bring comfort and good health to the people suffering from Malaria all around the world, Ameen!
